Don't say I don't want any happiness or fun... it comes with joy! That's my experience. This past years life and I were really tired or I had low energy all the most often and those who knows me... said my health was not strong. The times between my surgeries or with low physical and emotional conditions were much less comfortable and it can be good... and you are free to take everything... and yes in between is also good too. When your health starts coming down after each injury then it won't feel natural not long and we can adjust with the way as the time continues.... It starts a new life now after surgery!! But it would be better the time comes for him as a professional and not one you want some silly game here to fool another doctor/nurse/friend. Good for yourself is a huge part of his career!!!... if he can get through this part he will continue his career as much with his health, not so if he is a new career then don't forget... when will it be, when he got ready... in every part there will happen and be a huge struggle!!... his physical work has started from very low! so what can't say... maybe that is to long it? The days passed but he is fighting for it! he isn't always the greatest at first sight and then as time progresses he is fighting back and we continue his battles until the end of his fight :).. I think all good professionals want this one last and his time is one last... and no it wouldn't hurt at his professional or self... because we had that discussion in the second surgery he needed it. Maybe his work/personal training won't feel the same... just maybe as your friend he is happy when he is working because is the main reward for working (in our mind... no its NOT our reward but.
